With more than 70 years history Genertec Kunming Machine Tool Co., Ltd (hereafter referred to as KMTC) is a well-known famous machine tool manufacture in China. The company developed and manufactured hundreds of new products, 280 among them are “first one in China”.
      KMTC owns total assets about 2.5 billion Yuan, over 264,000 ㎡factory area, more than 1200 machining equipments, and more than 3000 employees. The Company mainly engages in DRO and CNC boring and milling machine tool products development, design, manufacture and sales. The main products are Horizontal Boring and Milling Machine, Planer type Boring and Milling Machine, Floor Type Boring and Milling Machine, Gantry Type Boring and Milling Machine, Jig Borer, Horizontal Machining Center and Machine Tool Accessories etc. The products of KMTC has been cover ship building, energy power, metallurgy, petrochemical engineering, mining machinery and engineering machinery besides the products has been export to USA, Canada, UK, India and South Korea etc. more than 20 countries.
      In 2005 KMTC and TOS VANSDORF both parties invested and built a joint venture –Kunming Tos Machine Tool Co., Ltd in order to provide international advanced level floor type and planer type boring and milling machine in China domestic market.
      Now KMTC is focus on strengthen the ability of technology innovation and product manufacture, accelerating the speed of products structure adjustment and improvements. For technological creativity, the Company owns 16 patents, and the R&D center undertakes several National Major Projects of Science and Technology. For manufacture capability, KMTC now constructing the new base which occupied 732,600㎡ area will make KMTC become China’s largest base for manufacture precision machine tool.
